Olivia asked me recently for a mini horse headshot session for her lovely grey mare Cous Cous. Delighted! I love this sort of work, it’s all down to the horse as to how much patience is needed (horses after all, have no idea what a photoshoot is), very pleased to say that Cous Cous was a dream to photograph, looking the right way for me and working the right pose like a complete pro. This type of shot is one that I like to create naturally, it’s something that’s very difficult to fake and only really possible if you have an area like a barn entrance, indoor school entrance, somewhere shaded. This is needed to create the right light on the horse in the first place, it’s possible with very technical lighting equipment but that’s not something I do.
If you’re interested in this sort of look for your horse and you’d be interested in a small ‘horse only’ session to create an amazing image for your wall (and you have access to an area as mentioned above), do drop me an email or give me a call.
