A few weeks back I had the pleasure of visiting St Augustine’s in Westgate-on-sea, to photograph Stephanie and Jamie’s wedding day. I’d met them a couple of months beforehand and they explained that it was all a bit short notice due to a big change in career for Jamie. Go go go!!! You’ll see from the photos below that it really is possible to arrange a lovely wedding day without spending endless months planning, all you need is good family spirit and their support. This is the sort of wedding that is totally my cup of tea to photograph, people with personality simply enjoying themselves.
Stephanie and Jamie were a complete joy to photograph on their wedding day, and both looked amazing in their wedding outfits. All complimented with dark purple. Although Stephanie and Jamie didn’t use the actual abbey to get married in, St Augustine’s very kindly gave us access later in the day. Very handily, some amazing sunlight streamed through the high windows at just the right time of day for us.
The staff at St Augustine’s were totally fab too and made me feel very welcome, a lovely venue with staff that will look after you.
Congratulations again to Stephanie and Jamie, thanks so much for trusting me with your day. (Pleased to say that they absolutely love their images, makes me very happy.)
